I never fail to be amazed by how perceptive children can be. It is an ongoing challenge to incorporate children's insights into their learning environments.

Poor kid! It must be awful to know what the teacher ought to do and watch them not only not do it but get mad at you. You are a good kid Jack. You are smart and a very good kid.

It's hard being smarter than your teacher, isn't it?!
